Minecraft Note Block Tuner

Tune all 25 vanilla note block pitches, compare instruments, and hear a synthesized preview only when you press a key.

Quick answer

How the Note Block Tuner Works

Choose the instrument created by the block beneath your note block, then click any key from note 0 to 24. The tuner shows the exact vanilla pitch multiplier.

  • All 25 vanilla pitches
  • 20 current instrument choices
  • Required supporting-block guide
  • Opt-in synthesized audio preview

How to Use the Minecraft Note Block Tuner

  1. Choose an instrument and note the required supporting block.

  2. Click a keyboard key or select a note index.

  3. Match the displayed note by right-clicking the in-game note block the required number of times.

Important Minecraft Mechanics

Minecraft uses the multiplier 2^((note − 12) / 12), from 0.5× at note 0 through 2× at note 24.

The note block must have clear space directly above it to make sound in game.

Edition and Version Notes

Java and Bedrock where supported. Use the version selector when the tool provides one. GamerCubic does not label Java-only data or commands as Bedrock-compatible.

Calculations, uploaded files, generated plans, and normal exports are processed locally unless a control clearly requests an online username or profile lookup.

Note Block Tuner FAQs

Does the page autoplay sound?

No. Audio is created only after you click a key or the preview button.

Why does my in-game note block stay silent?

Check that the block directly above it is air and that the instrument block is directly underneath.

Evidence states are intentionally conservative. Automated software checks and in-game verification are reported separately.
