Editorial Policy
Player-first purpose
GamerCubic publishes for Minecraft players. Every article should answer the reader's question clearly, provide useful steps, identify important limitations, and avoid padding that does not help the player.
Editorial responsibility
Editors are responsible for deciding what is published, how claims are framed, and when a page needs correction or retirement. Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, or access to products do not purchase favorable conclusions.
Research and source hierarchy
Writers should prefer first-party Minecraft sources such as official release notes, help documentation, and verified developer communications for factual update claims. In-game testing, reputable technical references, and clearly attributed community findings may add context. Unconfirmed reports must not be presented as established fact.
Edition and version checks
Java Edition and Bedrock Edition can behave differently, and snapshots, previews, experimental settings, servers, and older releases may change an answer. Articles should identify the relevant edition and version when it materially affects instructions.
Originality and usefulness
We do not accept copied, spun, or lightly rewritten material. A useful GamerCubic article should add original organization, explanation, testing, screenshots, examples, comparisons, or practical judgment.
Automation and human review
Automation or artificial-intelligence tools may assist with outlines, transcription, research organization, or editing. They do not replace source evaluation, originality checks, factual review, or human accountability. A human editor remains responsible for the published page.
Recommendations
Recommendations should explain the criteria, intended user, trade-offs, and meaningful limitations. They must not be based solely on commission rate, advertiser preference, or sponsorship.
Advertising and conflicts
Ads are visually separated from editorial content and labeled as advertising where appropriate. Material affiliate or sponsored relationships must be disclosed. See our Advertising Disclosure.
Updates and corrections
We review articles when major game changes, reliable reader reports, or internal checks indicate that an answer may be outdated. Material errors should be corrected promptly after verification; minor spelling or formatting edits may be made without a separate notice.
